Hitachi KM12VC is one of our favorite routers, it has a very solid feel to it and is designed very ergonomically, it just feels great in your hands. Locks are very precise and feel very smooth, depth stop has one of the best designs we have seen and spring is as firm as it should be.

Probably one of the best parts of Hitachi KM12VC is its motor, its one of the quietest and smoothest we have worked with, its just powerful enough to do what you need it to do without causing excess vibration. We have also liked its collet design, yes its necessary to lose two wrenches but it also gives you more durability then a locking collet. All in all Hitachi KM12VC is in an excellent router, if you include the great price and possibility of a free shipment the value is even better.
