Any tradesman will tell you how frustrating it is to be working and they just cannot seem to find that one vital tool they know they have hidden away somewhere in their tool box.  You can make sure that your tools never get stolen buy purchasing a van safe tool box.You can also follow these 5 simple steps to make sure that you never misplace a tool again!

1)  Start by taking everything out of your tool box.Find a clear floor area to lay out all your tools so you can see what you have.  If you have several tools of the same specification then it is common sense to keep the duplicates elsewhere.One of the most common reasons it can be difficult to find tools is that they can get hidden amongst the clutter.

2) Decide how you are going to order your tools in the tool box.For example you may wish to divide sockets and tools into separate drawers whilst keeping speciality tools in a different drawer. 

3) The next job is to clean all of your tools.  The best way to do this is to spray them with a little bit of WD40 before wiping it off.This is an effective way to prevent rusting.

4) If you own more than one secure tool box, make sure that you have a standardized way of setting them all up.The idea behind this is that if you have one tool box in your van and another one in your garage, you know that a particular tool will be in the same place for each box.

5) If you use your tools regularly then you should sustain a system of checking your tool box one a week/month to check that everything is in it's place.  This should take you only a few seconds but it could save you plenty of stress and confusion when you are working on site.
